We offer exclusive use of The Ball House for celebrations of life/Wakes as part of our buffet price as we feel that you should be able to celebrate or grieve in a space that is solely for you and your guests. From the minute you book with us we take care of the rest to ensure you are as stress free as possible. We do our best to ensure the day goes as smoothly as possible and are happy to assist you with your needs.
Our hot and cold buffet includes a range of foods with tea and coffee included. There is the opportunity for digital photos and videos to be displayed and we can also set you up a space for a memory table should you wish. We are accessible with ample parking available. We can also cater for any other special touches you may wish to add.

We were recommended to have our mother's wake at The Ball House and we were so pleased with everything.

We recently held a wake for our mother at the Ball House.
From the first phone call making enquiries as to what they offered, we were very impressed with their understanding at a very difficult time. They could not have been more helpful, we did not know how many people to cater for but we were assured that if more people than expected came back, then they could soon put extra food out.
On The day we had the pub to ourselves, Andy made sure everything ran smoothly and after checking us organised extra food for the buffet due to more people attending than we had anticipated. We were very impressed both with Andy and his staff who were always there in the background should anything be needed. The food was excellent and at a very reasonable cost. Thank you Andy and staff for your expertise and understanding, which enabled us to give Mum a good send off.
